Getting There

    Start at the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Information Centre located at 103 Ardmore Street. Head west along Ardmore Street, which will turn into Helwick Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Brownston Street, where you will turn left. Continue along Brownston Street until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto State Highway 84 (SH84) heading towards Albert Town. Follow SH84 for approximately 2 km until you see signage for 'Homestead Bay' on your right. Turn right onto West Wanaka Road (you will see a sign for Wanaka Horse Trekking). Follow West Wanaka Road for about 4 km, and look for further signage directing you to Wanaka Horse Trekking, which will be on your right.

    Begin your journey at the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Information Centre at 103 Ardmore Street. Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops nearby. Cycle west along Ardmore Street, which will turn into Helwick Street. Continue straight until you reach Brownston Street, then turn left. Ride along Brownston Street to the roundabout, and take the first exit onto State Highway 84 (SH84) towards Albert Town. Follow SH84 for approximately 2 km until you reach the 'Homestead Bay' signage on your right. Turn right onto West Wanaka Road and cycle for about 4 km, where you will find Wanaka Horse Trekking on your right, marked by additional signage.
