Get off at the Paraparaumu Station stop. From there, exit the station and walk to the left, following the signs towards Queen Elizabeth Park. The park entrance is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station.

Start at Wellington Railway Station located at 1 Bunny Street. Take the Metlink train on the Kapiti Line towards Waikanae. The train ride to Paraparaumu Station takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Paraparaumu Station, exit the station and turn left. Follow the path leading towards the beach, which will lead you to Queen Elizabeth Park, approximately a 15-minute walk away.

If you have a bike, you can cycle from Wellington to Paraparaumu. Start from the Wellington Waterfront and follow the cycling path along the coast to the north. The ride is about 55 km and will take approximately 2 - 3 hours depending on your cycling speed.
