Bus
From Wellington Central, head to the Wellington Bus Interchange (located at 81 Waterloo Quay). Take the number 20 bus towards 'Miramar'. It will take approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the stop at 'Ellice Street at Moncrieff Street'. Once you get off, walk up Ellice Street toward the Mount Victoria area. This will lead you to the base of Mount Victoria.

After getting off the bus at 'Ellice Street at Moncrieff Street', continue walking straight on Ellice Street until it merges into the 'Mount Victoria Access Road'. Follow this road uphill for about 20-30 minutes. You will notice signs indicating the way to the summit. The path is well-marked and offers a scenic view of the city as you ascend.
