If you're traveling by car from the West Coast, take State Highway 6 (SH6) towards Greymouth. Once you reach Greymouth, continue on SH6 until you merge onto State Highway 7 (SH7). Follow SH7 to the junction with State Highway 1 (SH1) at Christchurch. From Christchurch, follow SH1 to Wellington. When you arrive in Wellington, take the exit toward Khandallah. Continue on Khandallah Road until you reach Woodmancote Road. Khandallah Park will be on your left. Ensure you have a GPS or a map for accurate navigation.

To reach Khandallah Park using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in the West Coast to Wellington. You can use the InterCity bus service or a regional bus service. Once you arrive in Wellington, head to the Wellington Railway Station. From there, take a train on the Johnsonville Line towards Johnsonville. Disembark at Khandallah Station. From Khandallah Station, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Khandallah Park. Head down Khandallah Road, then turn left onto Woodmancote Road. The park will be on your left. Be sure to check the bus and train schedules for the latest departure times.
