Continue straight onto Bank Street, which will lead you to the Whangarei Town Basin. Enjoy the scenic waterfront as you walk. Next, cross the bridge at the Town Basin to reach the other side. After crossing, follow the path that leads to the Hātea River Walkway. Stay on the walkway until you reach the intersection with Whangarei Heads Road. Turn left into Whangarei Heads Road and continue walking. After approximately 4 kilometers, you will reach the junction with Clapham Road. Take a right onto Clapham Road and walk about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of A.H. Reed Memorial Park. Enter the park and follow the signs to Paranui Falls Lookout, which is about a 30-minute walk through the park.

    Begin at the Whangarei Transport Centre located at 17 Walton Street. Take the bus heading towards Whareora, which is operated by the local bus service. Ensure you ask the driver to let you know when to get off at Clapham Road. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at Clapham Road. From there, walk about 1 kilometer to the entrance of A.H. Reed Memorial Park. Once at the park, follow the designated path to Paranui Falls Lookout, which is a scenic 30-minute walk away.
