If you're starting from downtown Dayton, head to the Dayton Metro Transit Center located at 4th and Main Streets. From there, take the Route 8 bus towards 'Oakwood'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop at Oakwood Avenue and Shafor Blvd. From this stop, walk south on Shafor Blvd for about 5 minutes until you reach Smith Gardens, which will be on your right.

Start by heading east on E Stewart St towards S Main St. Turn left onto S Main St and continue for about 1 mile until you reach Oakwood Ave. Take a right onto Oakwood Ave, and after a short walk, you will see Smith Gardens on your left.
