If you're traveling by car, start on I-205 N from anywhere in Clackamas County. Take exit 21B to merge onto I-84 E toward The Dalles. Continue on I-84 E for about 25 miles, then take exit 17 for Corbett/Troutdale. Turn left onto E Historic Columbia River Hwy and follow it for approximately 7 miles. Turn right onto Larch Mountain Road and continue for about 8 miles. The Larch Mountain Trailhead will be on your left. There is no parking fee, but ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountain roads.

To reach Larch Mountain Trail via public transportation, take TriMet MAX Light Rail Line 1 (Blue Line) to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, transfer to bus #77 (Battle Ground) and ride to the NE 257th Ave & Halsey St stop. This route may require additional walking or local taxi services, as public transport options are limited directly to the trailhead.
