    From any location in Clackamas County, head towards Highway 26. If you're in the city of Portland, take I-84 E to I-205 S, then merge onto US-26 E. Continue on US-26 E for approximately 30 miles. Take the exit for OR-35 N toward Mount Hood. After about 2 miles, turn left onto E Barlow Trail Rd. Follow E Barlow Trail Rd for around 3 miles until you reach the Sandy Ridge Trail System located at 62700 E Barlow Trail Rd, Brightwood, OR 97011.

  • Public Transportation

    If traveling by public transportation, take the MAX Light Rail to the Gresham City Hall Station. From there, transfer to the TriMet bus 53 (Rockwood to Gresham) and ride to the Gresham Transit Center. Next, you will need to take the TriMet bus 57 (Tualatin) which will take you to the Sandy Ridge Trailhead. Note that public transportation options may have limited schedules, so be sure to check the TriMet website for the most current routes and times.
