    From Klamath Falls, head east on OR-140 E. Continue on OR-140 E for approximately 50 miles until you reach Lakeview. In Lakeview, turn left onto US-395 N and drive for about 30 miles. You will reach the junction with OR-31 N, where you will turn left. Follow OR-31 N for approximately 25 miles until you reach the junction with Steens Mountain Loop Road. Turn right onto Steens Mountain Loop Road and follow the signs, which will lead you to Steens Mountain. The road is unpaved and may require a high-clearance vehicle. Be prepared for possible additional costs if you need to rent a vehicle.
