Start from the main parking area of Smith Rock State Park. Head southeast on Crooked River Drive toward Smith Rock Way. Continue on Crooked River Drive, which will turn into Oregon Route 126 East. After about 4.6 miles, merge onto US-97 North. Continue on US-97 for approximately 18 miles. Take the exit for Culver, then turn left onto SW 1st Street. Follow this road until you see signs for The Cove Palisades State Park. The park entrance will be on your right. Keep in mind that there is a day-use fee for entering the park, typically around $5 per vehicle.
