If you are driving along the Karakoram Highway, head towards Gilgit. Upon reaching Gilgit, take the Naltar Valley road which is well marked. This road will lead you to the Naltar Valley. The journey from Gilgit to Naltar Valley is approximately 45 kilometers and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions. Please note that the road to Naltar Valley is narrow and winding, so drive cautiously. Upon arrival at Naltar Valley, follow the signs towards Murky Lake, which is located near Bashkiri Lake.
