If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Gilgit city. Head northwest on the N-35 (Karakoram Highway) towards Naltar Valley. After approximately 30 kilometers, take a left turn towards Naltar Valley at the junction. The road will become narrower and more rugged as you approach Naltar. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the Naltar Valley. Once in the valley, follow the signs to Murky Lake, which is located near Bashkiri Lake.
