If you are traveling by car, start from the town center of Gettysburg. Head southwest on Baltimore St toward Lincoln Square. Continue straight onto US-15 S. Take the exit toward PA-97 S. Merge onto PA-97 S and continue for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Waterworks Rd. Drive for about 1 mile, and you will see Sachs Covered Bridge on your right. There is no admission fee to visit the bridge, and parking is available nearby.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from Gettysburg to the nearest stop to Sachs Covered Bridge. Start at the Gettysburg Transit Center and catch the Adams County Transit bus that goes to the outskirts of Gettysburg. Get off at the stop closest to Waterworks Rd. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk along Waterworks Rd to reach Sachs Covered Bridge. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited.
