Walking
If you are starting from the Erie Maritime Museum located at 150 East Front Street, begin by walking south on East Front Street toward State Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with State Street. Turn left onto State Street. Walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants on your way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, continue walking south until you reach the entrance to Presque Isle State Park. Enter the park and follow the paths that lead towards the lighthouse.

Public Transit (Bus)
From the Erie Bus Station, take the Route 1 bus heading toward Millcreek Mall. Get off at the stop near the intersection of State Street and East 6th Street. Walk towards State Street and head south. Continue along State Street until you reach the waterfront. Once you arrive at the waterfront, you can either walk to Presque Isle State Park or take a local shuttle if available. Follow the paths inside the park toward the lighthouse.

If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Erie and head towards the waterfront. You can take the Bayfront Parkway, which is bike-friendly, and follow the signs to Presque Isle State Park. The park has designated bike paths that will lead you directly to the Erie Land Lighthouse. The ride from downtown to the lighthouse is approximately 3 miles and offers scenic views of the lake.
