If you are already in Presque Isle State Park, the best way to reach Kite Beach is to walk towards the Lake Erie shore. From the main entrance of the park, head towards the Visitor Center. Once you are near the Visitor Center, follow the signs directing you towards the beaches. You will need to walk approximately 1 mile towards the east along the park’s designated walking paths. You can enjoy the scenic views of Lake Erie and the natural surroundings along the way. Once you see the beach area, you will find Kite Beach located on the eastern side of the park, where you can find ample space for kite flying and relaxing.

Biking
For a quicker option, consider renting a bike from one of the bike rental stations available throughout Presque Isle State Park. After renting your bike, head towards the main bike path that runs parallel to the park road. Cycle eastward along the path for about a mile, following the signs for the beach areas. This route will take you directly to Kite Beach, where you can park your bike in designated bike racks.

If you are staying in Erie and prefer public transportation, you can take the public bus (Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority) to the nearest bus stop located near the park entrance. From there, it will be a short walk into the park, approximately 0.5 miles to reach Kite Beach.
