If you are already in Presque Isle State Park, the best way to reach the Presque Isle Lighthouse is by walking. Start from the Park Office, which is located near the entrance of the park. Head east along the paved road (Peninsula Drive) for about 1 mile. Keep following the road as it curves along the shoreline of Lake Erie. You will pass several scenic picnic areas and beach access points. Once you reach the lighthouse, you will see it on your left, surrounded by a beautiful natural setting with views of the lake. The lighthouse is open to visitors, so feel free to explore the area.

For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from the visitor center if available. From the Park Office, head east on Peninsula Drive, following the same route as for walking. The bike path usually runs parallel to the road, making it a safe and enjoyable ride. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the lighthouse, depending on your speed. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow biking safety rules. Once you arrive, you can lock your bike at the designated bike rack near the lighthouse.

While there are no direct public transportation routes within Presque Isle State Park, you can use local bus services to reach the park entrance from downtown Erie.
