Walking
If you are near the entrance of Presque Isle State Park, start by walking towards the park's main road, Point Drive. Continue down Point Drive for approximately 1 mile, enjoying the scenic views of the lake on your right. You will see signs directing you towards the Perry Monument. As you approach, look for a path leading to the monument which is located near the peninsula's end. The monument is easily visible, and there are benches and open areas for you to rest and enjoy the view.

For a more active approach, consider renting a bike at one of the rental stations within Presque Isle State Park. Once you have your bike, navigate towards the paved bike paths that run parallel to Point Drive. Bike towards the west, approximately 1 mile, until you reach the Perry Monument. The bike paths are well-marked and provide a safe and enjoyable ride with beautiful views of the surrounding nature.

Public Transport (Bus Service)
Although Presque Isle State Park does not have direct public transport services within the park, you can take the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) Bus #5 or #6 to the nearest stops outside the park. From the bus stop, it is about a 15-20 minute walk to the park entrance. Once inside, follow the walking directions provided earlier to reach the Perry Monument. Be sure to check the latest bus schedules as service times may vary.
