If you're traveling by car, you can use Highway 6 (US-6) to reach Philadelphia from Northern Tier. Begin by heading southeast on US-6, then merge onto I-81 South. Continue on I-81 until you reach I-76 East (the Pennsylvania Turnpike). Take I-76 East towards Philadelphia. Once you approach Philadelphia, take the exit for 676 East. Follow signs for the Ben Franklin Bridge, and then take exit 2B for 6th Street. The President's House Site is located at 6th St & 598 Market St. There is street parking available, but be aware of parking meters and potential fees.

For public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or Megabus from Northern Tier to Philadelphia. Once you arrive at the Philadelphia bus terminal, you can take the SEPTA subway. Board the Market-Frankford Line at 69th Street Terminal heading towards Frankford.
