Walking
If you are in the heart of Fairmount, start by heading south on Fairmount Avenue towards the Schuylkill River. Continue straight until you reach the riverfront. Once at the river, turn left and follow the path along the Schuylkill River Trail. The Cliffs are located on the West Philadelphia side of the river, near the intersection with the Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The walk should take about 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
Public Transportation
From Fairmount, you can take the SEPTA bus. Head to the nearest bus stop on Fairmount Avenue and catch the Route 32 bus towards 69th Street Terminal. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop near the intersection of 63rd Street and the Girard Avenue Bridge. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to The Cliffs. Head southwest on 63rd Street until you reach the riverfront, then turn right and follow the path to The Cliffs. The bus fare is $2.50, and you can pay with cash or a SEPTA Key card.
