From the main square in Cusco (Plaza de Armas), make your way to the Estación de Autobuses (Bus Station) located at Avenida 28 de Julio. Look for buses that head towards Lares; these are usually labeled 'Lares' or 'Calca.' The journey to Lares will take approximately 3-4 hours. Make sure to confirm with the bus operator about the final stop.

Once you arrive at Lares, head towards the main road and follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Hot Springs. The Hot Springs are located approximately 30 minutes on foot from the town center of Lares. You can follow the path along the river for a scenic route.

Alternatively, after arriving in Lares, you can take a collective taxi (shared taxi) which can be found near the main square. These taxis will take you directly to the Hot Springs in about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting in or ask the locals for a fair price.
