Car
From the town of Ollantaytambo, head southeast on Avenida Ferrocarril. Follow the signs for the road leading to Urubamba. Once in Urubamba, continue on the main road (Carretera Urubamba - Ollantaytambo) until you reach the junction towards the village of Ancasmarca. Turn onto the dirt road leading to Ancasmarca and drive for about 20 minutes. The last part of the road may be bumpy, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation
From Urubamba, take a local bus or colectivo (shared taxi) heading towards Ollantaytambo. Ask the driver to drop you off near the junction for Ancasmarca. This should cost around 5-10 soles. From the junction, you can walk or arrange for a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to Ancasmarca, which might cost an additional 15-20 soles.
