Walking
If you're starting from the Plaza de Armas, head south on Avenida El Sol towards the intersection with Calle Garcilaso. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Calle Garcilaso. The Regional Historical Museum is located at C. Garcilaso, Cusco 08002, on your left side. Look for the distinct entrance with a sign indicating the museum. No additional costs are incurred while walking.

From the San Pedro Market, exit onto Avenida San Pedro and head northwest. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Plaza de Armas. From there, follow the previous directions towards Calle Garcilaso. The museum will be on your left. This route also does not incur any costs.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you are near a bus stop that serves the central routes, you can take a local bus heading towards Plaza de Armas. Pay the fare (usually around 1-2 soles). Once you arrive at Plaza de Armas, follow the directions provided above to reach the museum on Calle Garcilaso.

If you prefer a taxi, you can hail one from the street or use a ride-hailing app. Inform the driver to take you to C. Garcilaso, Cusco 08002. The fare should be around 5-10 soles, depending on your starting point within the Historic Center. The museum is easily recognizable, and you can ask the driver to drop you off right at the entrance.
