Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Urubamba, which is centrally located in the Sacred Valley. Head east on Avenida Ferrocarril (also known as the main road) for approximately 6 kilometers. You will see signs for 'Mullakas' as you approach the Unnamed Road, where Mullakas is located. Turn left onto the Unnamed Road and continue for about 2 kilometers. The destination will be on your right. Make sure to check your GPS as the area can be tricky to navigate.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a colectivo (shared taxi) from Urubamba to the nearby village of Misminay. Colectivos depart regularly from the main square in Urubamba and cost around 5-10 soles per person. Once you arrive in Misminay, you can either walk the remaining 3 kilometers to Mullakas or arrange for a local taxi to take you there. Keep in mind that the walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and the route is scenic but may not be well marked.

Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Mullakas, and prefer walking, you can start from Misminay. Follow the dirt path heading southeast from the village. The path will lead you through beautiful landscapes and local farms. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, you will reach Mullakas. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as it can be a bit strenuous.
