If you're in the central area of Trujillo, head to the main bus terminal located at Av. España. Look for buses heading towards 'La Esperanza' or 'El Porvenir'. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop at Av. América Sur. The fare is usually around 1 to 2 soles. Once you board, stay alert for the 'Av. América Sur' stop which is just a few stops away. After getting off, walk east for about 5 minutes along Av. América Sur, and you will see Estadio Chan Chan on your left.

From any location in Trujillo city center, you can take a mototaxi to Estadio Chan Chan. Simply flag down a mototaxi and tell the driver 'Estadio Chan Chan' or show them the address 'Av. América Sur 1753'. The fare should be around 5 to 10 soles, depending on your starting point. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The mototaxi will drop you off right at the stadium entrance.

If you are near the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo, start walking south on Av. Pizarro until you reach the intersection with Av. América Sur. Turn left onto Av. América Sur and continue walking for about 20 minutes. You'll pass local shops and cafes along the way. As you approach the stadium, look for the large entrance and signage for Estadio Chan Chan on your right.
