Getting There

Train
From Cascais, walk to the Cascais train station, which is located in the center of town. Purchase a ticket to Lisbon. Trains run frequently, approximately every 20 minutes. Board the train heading towards Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon. The ride will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. Follow the signs to the Metro (green line) and take the Metro towards the 'Alameda' station.

Metro
At the Cais do Sodré Metro station, take the green line towards 'Telheiras'. After four stops, get off at 'Baixa-Chiado' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for 'Rua da Alfândega'. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, passing through the beautiful streets of Lisbon until you reach Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição Velha at Rua da Alfândega 108.

Bus
From Cascais, head to the Cascais bus terminal located near the train station. Look for the bus number 403 that goes to Lisbon. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes about 50 minutes. Get off at the stop near Cais do Sodré. From there, walk towards the Metro station and follow the same directions as above to reach Rua da Alfândega.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Cascais and head towards the waterfront. Follow the coastline and take a leisurely stroll along the promenade towards Estoril. It’s a long walk, approximately 5 km, and will take about 1 hour. From Estoril, you can catch a train or bus to Lisbon or continue along the coastal path until you reach Lisbon, following the signs to the city center.
