Walking
Start at the Évora city center, specifically at the Praça do Giraldo. From the square, head east towards Rua 5 de Outubro. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de Serpa Pinto. Turn right onto Rua de Serpa Pinto and walk until you reach the end of the street. You will now be at the intersection with Avenida de São Sebastião. Cross the avenue and continue straight onto Rua da Liberdade. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, passing through residential areas until you reach the junction with Rua do Rossio. Turn left onto Rua do Rossio and continue straight. After a short walk, you will arrive at the São João da Penitência Convent (Maltezas), located at Rossio Marquês de Pombal, 7100-513 Estremoz.

From the Évora city center, head to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Évora. Look for the bus that goes to Estremoz. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Estremoz, disembark at the Estremoz bus station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Rossio Marquês de Pombal. The São João da Penitência Convent (Maltezas) is located at this address, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus station.
