From Évora, head to the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Évora) located at Avenida de São Sebastião. You can walk there from the city center in about 15 minutes. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket for a bus to Estremoz. Buses to Estremoz run regularly. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Estremoz bus station, the Igreja de São Francisco is a short 10-minute walk. Exit the bus station, turn left onto Rua da Estação, and continue straight until you reach the main square, where the church is located.

Although there is no direct train service to Estremoz from Évora, you can take a train to Elvas or another nearby town and then take a bus or taxi to Estremoz. To start, walk to the Évora train station, which is about a 20-minute walk from the city center. Purchase a ticket to Elvas, and the train journey takes about 40 minutes. From Elvas, you can find a bus heading to Estremoz. Once you arrive in Estremoz, follow the same walking directions to the Igreja de São Francisco as mentioned before.
