Walking
If you're in the center of Guimarães, start at the Guimarães Castle, a well-known landmark. From the castle, head southeast on Rua Conde Dom Henrique. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Praça de São Tiago. At the square, turn left onto Rua de São Tiago and walk straight until you reach the end of the street. You will see a large intersection. Cross the intersection and continue straight onto Rua do Relógio. Follow this street for another 400 meters until you reach the main road, Avenida de São Gonçalo. Turn right and walk for about 200 meters until you see the sign for the Guimarães train station. After passing the station, continue walking along the same road for another 500 meters. You will need to cross over to Rua da Picaria, where A Fábrica da Picaria is located at number 72. The brewpub will be on your left side.

Bus
From the Guimarães city center, walk to the main bus terminal located near Praça de São Tiago. Once there, look for a bus that is heading towards Porto (they are frequent). You will take the bus towards Porto and it should take approximately 30 minutes to reach. Once you arrive at Porto, you will need to get off at the 'Campo 24 de Agosto' bus stop. From there, walk west on Rua do Comércio do Porto. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Rua de Santa Catarina. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach Rua da Picaria. Turn right, and A Fábrica da Picaria will be located at number 72 on your right.

Train
To get to A Fábrica da Picaria from Guimarães via train, start at the Guimarães train station located near the city center. Purchase a ticket to Porto São Bento station. Trains run frequently and the journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Porto São Bento station, exit the station and head south towards Avenida dos Aliados. Walk straight down this avenue for about 800 meters until you reach Praça da Liberdade. From there, continue south until you reach Rua do Almada. Turn left and walk down Rua do Almada until you reach Rua da Picaria. Turn right onto Rua da Picaria, and A Fábrica da Picaria will be located at number 72 on your left.
