Walking
If you are starting from the city center of Braga, head towards the main square, Praça da República. From there, walk straight along Avenida da Liberdade until you reach the intersection with Rua dos Capelistas. Turn left onto Rua dos Capelistas and continue straight until you reach the junction with Rua do Comércio. Turn right and walk until you reach the end of the street, where you'll see the bus station. From the bus station, you will need to take a bus to Porto. Look for the bus labeled 'Porto' at the station. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride to Porto, which will take about an hour. After arriving at Porto's bus terminal, follow the signs to the metro station and take the metro line towards Estádio do Dragão. Get off at the 'Trindade' station and transfer to the 'Line A (Blue Line)' towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Alight at the 'Aliados' station. From there, Praça Gen. Humberto Delgado is just a short walk away; exit the metro station and head towards the large square in front of you.

From any location in Braga, make your way to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Braga. You can ask locals for directions to the bus station. Once there, purchase a ticket to Porto. The buses are frequent, and the journey will take approximately one hour. After arriving at Porto's bus station, head to the metro station located nearby. Take the metro line A (Blue Line) towards Matosinhos. Travel for about three stops and get off at 'Aliados' station. Upon exiting the metro, look for the large square, Praça Gen. Humberto Delgado, which is directly in front of you. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the square upon arrival.
