Walking
From the center of Guimarães, head towards the Guimarães train station (Estação de Guimarães) which is located at Av. da Liberdade. Once you arrive at the station, take the train towards Porto (a direct train to Porto takes about 1 hour). After arriving at the Porto train station (Estação de São Bento), exit the station and head towards the Avenida dos Aliados. Continue walking straight until you reach Praça Gen. Humberto Delgado, where you will find the Porto City Hall.

From Guimarães, go to the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Guimarães) located in the city center. Look for a bus that goes to Porto, which is typically a 30-40 minute ride. Once you arrive at the Porto bus station (Rodoviária do Campo 24 de Agosto), exit the station and walk towards Rua de Santa Catarina. Head straight until you reach Avenida dos Aliados and then proceed to Praça Gen. Humberto Delgado, where the Porto City Hall is located.

Train and Metro
Start at Guimarães train station (Estação de Guimarães). Take a train to Porto São Bento. After arriving, exit and find the São Bento metro station. Take the metro on the D Line towards Hospital de São João. Get off at the Trindade station, and transfer to the A Line towards Estádio do Dragão. Get off at the Marquês station, then walk towards Praça Gen. Humberto Delgado to reach the Porto City Hall.
