Walking
To reach the Pelourinho de Soajo from the central area of Guimarães, start at Praça de Santiago, a popular square in the city. Head north towards Rua de Santo António and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Gonçalo. Turn right onto Rua de São Gonçalo and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass by various shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the roundabout, follow the signs towards Soajo. Continue straight for another 15 minutes until you see the Largo do Eiró on your left. The Pelourinho de Soajo is located at this square.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Guimarães bus station, purchase a ticket for a bus heading towards Soajo. Buses typically depart every hour. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes about 30 minutes. The bus will pass through the countryside, and you will see signs for Soajo. Disembark at the Largo do Eiró stop. The Pelourinho de Soajo is a short walk from the bus stop, just a few meters away in the square.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Guimarães. Once you have your bike, head towards the Rua de São Gonçalo as you would when walking. Biking will allow you to cover the distance faster, taking about 20 minutes to reach Largo do Eiró. Make sure to follow the road signs towards Soajo, and enjoy the beautiful landscape along the way.
