Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Voz do Operário. Turn left onto Rua da Voz do Operário and follow it until you see the signs pointing to Miradouro das Portas do Sol. You will soon arrive at Largo Portas do Sol, where the viewpoint is located.

If you prefer taking public transport, you can catch Tram 28, a popular route through Alfama. Board the tram at any nearby stop (like 'Martim Moniz') and ride until you reach the 'Largo da Graça' tram stop. From there, it's a short walk: head down Rua da Graça, and then turn onto Rua da Voz do Operário. Follow the road until you see the signs for Miradouro das Portas do Sol. Note that a single tram ticket costs €3, which can be purchased at the tram stop.

You can also take Bus 737 from nearby stops in Alfama. Board the bus at 'Largo do Chafariz de Dentro' and ride to the 'Martim Moniz' stop. From there, transfer to Tram 28 or continue walking to Largo Portas do Sol. The bus ticket is also €1.50 if purchased from the driver, or you can use the same Viva Viagem card used for the tram.
