Getting There

  • Metro

    From central Porto, head to the nearest Metro station, São Bento. Take the Line D (Yellow Line) heading towards Hospital de São João. Stay on the train for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop 'Jardim do Morro'. Exit the station and follow the signs towards Vila Nova de Gaia. Once outside, you will see a staircase leading down to the riverside. Walk along the waterfront, and you will soon arrive at Av. de Diogo Leite in Vila Nova de Gaia.

    Starting from Aliados, walk to the nearest bus stop at Avenida dos Aliados. Take bus number 901 or 902 towards Vila Nova de Gaia. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Cais de Gaia'. From there, walk along the riverfront, and you will find Av. de Diogo Leite. It’s a short 5-minute walk.

  • Walking

    If you prefer walking, start at the Ribeira district in Porto. Head towards the Dom Luís I Bridge and cross it on the upper level. Once you reach the other side in Vila Nova de Gaia, turn left and walk along the riverside promenade.
