If you're near the Trindade Metro Station, take Line D (the Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovídio. Get off at the next stop called 'São Bento'. From there, exit the station and walk straight towards Rua de 31 de Janeiro. Continue walking straight until you reach Praça da Batalha, where you will find the São João National Theater.

If you are near the Aliados or Avenida dos Aliados area, you can take bus number 601 or 602 from the Aliados bus stop. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Praça da Batalha' stop. The theater is just a short walk from there; head towards the large square, and you will see the theater directly in front of you.

If you are in the historic Ribeira district, head towards the Dom Luís I Bridge and cross it to the other side of the river. Once you are on the Porto side, walk up Rua de Ferreira Borges until you reach the intersection with Rua do Comércio do Porto. Turn left and continue straight until you hit Praça da Batalha, where the São João National Theater is located.
