Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the iconic Mercado do Bolhão, exit the market and head north on Rua de Fernandes Tomás. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua de Santa Catarina. Turn left onto Rua de Santa Catarina. Walk about 600 meters and the Chapel of Souls will be on your right at number 428. You'll recognize it by its beautiful azulejos (ceramic tiles) on the exterior.

    If you're near a metro station, take the Line D (Yellow Line) and get off at the Trindade station. Exit the station and head east on Rua da Alegria.
