Getting There

Walking
If you are in the central area of Setúbal, start at Praça do Comércio, a central square in the city. From there, head towards the waterfront and follow Avenida Luísa Todi along the river. This will take you past shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the ferry terminal, which is about a 15-minute walk. Take the ferry to Lisbon (Cacilhas). Once you arrive in Cacilhas, follow the signs to the train station and take the train towards Lisbon. Get off at Belém station. From the station, it’s a short walk to Praça do Império where the Igreja de Santa Maria de Belém is located.

Bus
From Setúbal, you can take the bus to Lisbon. Board the bus 123 or 151 at the Setúbal Bus Station. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Lisbon's Sete Rios Bus Station, transfer to the metro (blue line) and travel to the Jardim Zoológico station. From there, transfer to the light rail and take it to the Belém station. From Belém station, it’s a short walk to Praça do Império where the Igreja de Santa Maria de Belém is located.

Head to the Setúbal Train Station and purchase a ticket to Lisbon (Cais do Sodré). The train ride takes about 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, transfer to the Cascais Line train and head to Belém station. After you disembark at Belém, follow the signs to Praça do Império, where the Igreja de Santa Maria de Belém is located. It's only a short walk from the station.
