Walking
If you are in the center of Setúbal, start at Praça do Brasil, which is a common meeting point. From there, head towards the Setúbal train station (Estação Ferroviária de Setúbal) located at Av. da Liberdade. Once you reach the station, take a train to Lisbon. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at the Lisbon train station (Estação do Oriente), follow the signs to the Metro (subway). Take the Metro Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the Santa Apolónia station. From Santa Apolónia station, exit onto Rua da Voz do Operário and walk towards the river. Continue straight until you reach Rua Augusto Rosa. The Museum Aljube Resistência e Liberdade will be on your right at number 42.

Public Transport
From Setúbal, take the bus from the Setúbal Bus Terminal (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal) to Lisbon. Look for the Rede Expressos or another regional bus service that goes to Lisbon. The journey takes about 50 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive at the Lisbon bus terminal (Terminal de Sete Rios), walk to the nearby Jardim Zoológico Metro station. Take the Metro Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. After 6 stops, get off at the Santa Apolónia station. Exit the station and walk towards Rua da Voz do Operário, then turn right onto Rua Augusto Rosa. The museum is located at number 42 on your right.
