Walking
If you are starting from the center of Viana do Castelo, head south on Rua da Bandeira towards Praça da República. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront area along Avenida dos Combatentes do Ultramar. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and follow the promenade along the river until you reach the marina. From there, you can see the lighthouse (Farol de Viana do Castelo) on the pier. Follow the path leading to the Pontão Exterior, which is the outer pier area.
