From Vila Real, head to the main bus station located at Rua do Comércio. Take the bus heading to Guimarães. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Guimarães bus station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida de São Gonçalo. Walk straight until you reach Praça da Oliveira. From there, continue on Avenida Alberto Sampaio for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Muralha de Guimarães at number 374.

Train and Bus
Start at the Vila Real train station located on Avenida 1 de Maio. Take a train towards Guimarães. Once you arrive at the Guimarães train station, find the bus stop outside the station. Take bus number 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Praça de São Tiago'. From there, walk down Rua de São Tiago, turn left onto Avenida Alberto Sampaio, and you will find the Muralha de Guimarães at number 374.

If you are near the center of Vila Real, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Start at the Praça do Município and head north towards Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach Rua de Cima. Turn left and walk until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, follow the instructions for the bus route to Guimarães.
