Start your journey by heading to the nearest Doha Metro station. If you are in downtown Doha, the Msheireb Metro Station is a good starting point. Take the Gold Line towards Al Aziziyah and get off at the Al Qassar Station. From there, you will need to transfer to the Red Line and head towards Lusail. Get off at Lusail station. After exiting the metro station, look for a taxi stand or use a ride-hailing app to get a taxi to Purple Island. It's about a 15-minute drive from the metro station.

You can take a public bus to reach Purple Island. Look for Bus No. 777, which operates from multiple locations in Doha. Make your way to any major bus station, such as the Doha Bus Station. Board the No. 777 bus, which will take you to the Al Khor area. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the nearest stop to Purple Island. From there, you may need to walk a short distance or take a local taxi to reach the island.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can simply hail a taxi from your location in Doha. Ensure you show the driver the destination by either mentioning 'Purple Island' or showing them the address on your mobile device. Taxis in Doha are relatively inexpensive and will take you directly to the entrance of Purple Island. The journey should take around 30 minutes depending on traffic.

If you are staying close to the Corniche area, you can enjoy a scenic walk or bike ride. Start at the Corniche and head towards the Doha Bay.
