Walking
Start from the center of Westerly, at the intersection of High Street and Main Street. Head southeast on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Westerly Train Station. From there, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) train towards Montauk. The train ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Montauk Train Station, exit and head north on Station Road for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with East Lake Drive. Turn left onto East Lake Drive and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach Star Island Road. Turn left onto Star Island Road, and you will see Sam's Star Island Yacht Club & Marina located at 59 Star Island Rd.

Public Transportation
From Westerly, head to the Westerly Train Station and board the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) train towards Montauk. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. After arriving at the Montauk Train Station, take the Suffolk County Transit bus route S92 towards Montauk Point. Get off at the stop for Star Island Road, which is a short walk from the yacht club. Walk east on Star Island Road for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at Sam's Star Island Yacht Club & Marina at 59 Star Island Rd.
