From the center of Karongi, head north on Avenue de la République towards Avenue de la Paix. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenue de la Paix. Follow this road for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station, known as 'Gare Routière de Karongi.'

At the Gare Routière de Karongi, look for a bus heading towards Rubavu or Nyungwe National Park. Confirm with the bus driver that they stop near Gishwati-Mukura National Park.
