From any location in Praslin, head to the main bus terminal located in Grand Anse. Look for buses heading towards the north of the island. Board a bus that says 'Baie St. Anne' or 'Anse Volbert' as these will take you towards the ferry terminal. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Baie St. Anne bus stop.

Once you reach Baie St. Anne, locate the ferry terminal. Here you can purchase a ticket for a ferry to Castries, St. Lucia. Ferries usually operate several times a day, but it’s advisable to check the schedule beforehand. The ferry ride will take approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival at the Castries ferry terminal, you will be very close to Derek Walcott Square.

After disembarking from the ferry in Castries, walk towards the main road. You can ask locals for directions to Derek Walcott Square, which is a short 10-minute walk away. Follow the signs or look for the local landmarks to guide you. The square is located at 2255+GMV, just past the bustling market area, making it easily identifiable.
