If you're driving from Black Elk Peak, head south on South Dakota Highway 244 towards Hill City. After about 8 miles, turn left onto US-16A. Continue for about 1 mile, and then turn right onto Railroad Ave. The South Dakota State Railroad Museum will be on your left at 222 Railroad Ave, Building A, Hill City, SD 57745. Parking is available on-site, but please check for any fees or restrictions.
