Car
If you're traveling by car from the Lewis and Clark Recreation Area, start by heading northeast on SD-50 N. Continue on SD-50 N for approximately 20 miles. Take the exit toward US-81 N, and merge onto US-81 N. After about 10 miles, take the exit for SD-50 W toward Vermillion. Continue on SD-50 W, and follow the signs to Vermillion. Once in Vermillion, turn left onto N University St, and continue for about 1 mile. The W. H. Over Museum will be on your left at 1110 N University St. There is free parking available at the museum.

For public transportation, you can take a bus from the Lewis and Clark Recreation Area to Vermillion. Check local schedules as service may vary. Once you arrive in Vermillion, you can walk to the W. H. Over Museum, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus station. Head north on N Dakota St, then turn right onto N University St. The museum will be located at 1110 N University St. Be aware that public transit may have limited schedules, so it's wise to plan your return trip in advance.
