From any point in the Lewis and Clark Recreation Area, head southeast on SD-19. Continue on SD-19 for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto 308th St and follow the signs for Union Grove State Park, which will be located on your right. The drive takes around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

Public transportation options are limited in this rural area, but you can check if there are any local buses or shuttles that go to Beresford. If available, take the bus to Beresford and from there, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Union Grove State Park, which is approximately 8 miles away from Beresford. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be infrequent.
