If you are driving from the Gwandong Region to Deoksugung Palace, take the Gyeongbu Expressway (Expressway 1) heading towards Seoul. After approximately 2 hours, take the exit for the 'Seoul City Hall' (Exit 1C). Follow the signs for City Hall and continue straight until you reach Sejong-daero. Turn right onto Sejong-daero, and Deoksugung Palace will be on your left at 99 Sejong-daero. Note that parking is limited, so look for nearby public parking facilities.

To reach Deoksugung Palace using public transportation, start by taking an express bus or a train to Seoul. If you take the KTX train from Gwandong Region, disembark at Seoul Station. From Seoul Station, you can take the Subway Line 1. Board the subway heading towards 'Incheon' and get off at 'City Hall Station' (Exit 2). From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Deoksugung Palace. Walk straight on Sejong-daero, and you will find the entrance to the palace on your left.
