Start your journey at any subway station in Seoul and make your way to Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3 - Orange Line). When you arrive at Gyeongbokgung Station, take Exit 5. After exiting, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the main entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Once you arrive at the palace, continue walking in the direction of the palace's main gate. From there, head towards the Cheongwadae Observatory, which is located just northwest of the palace entrance. Follow the signs towards Cheongwadae, and you will arrive at the observatory.

If you prefer to take the bus, head to the nearest bus stop from your location and take Bus 1020 or 1711 towards Gyeongbokgung Palace. Get off at the Gyeongbokgung Palace bus stop. From there, walk towards the main entrance of the palace. After visiting the palace, head northwest towards the Cheongwadae Observatory, which is just a short 10-minute walk away. Follow the signs, and you'll find the observatory easily.

For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Cheongwadae Observatory, located at 산1-1 Sejongno, Jongno District, Seoul.
