Subway
If you are starting from Seoul Station, take Line 1 (the blue line) towards Incheon. Get off at City Hall Station (the 2nd stop) and transfer to Line 2 (the green line). Board the train towards Gangnam Station and get off at the next stop, which is the Gwanghwamun Station. From the Gwanghwamun Station (Exit 2), walk straight for about 10 minutes towards the west until you reach Cheong Wa Dae Official Residence located at 1 Sejongno, Jongno District.

Bus
From Myeongdong, walk to the Myeongdong Station bus stop. Take bus number 7016 or 1020, which will take you directly towards Gwanghwamun. Get off at the Gwanghwamun bus stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Cheong Wa Dae Official Residence. Head east on Sejong-daero, then take a right onto Yulgok-ro, and you will find the entrance at 1 Sejongno.

If you are near Gwanghwamun Square, you can simply walk to Cheong Wa Dae. Head east from the square, passing the statue of King Sejong. Continue walking along Sejong-daero for about 15 minutes. You will see the grand entrance to Cheong Wa Dae on your left at 1 Sejongno. The walk offers lovely views of the surrounding area, making it a pleasant journey.
