Getting There

  • Subway

    Take the Seoul Subway Line 3 (the Orange Line) to Gyeongbokgung Station. After arriving at Gyeongbokgung Station, take Exit 5. Once you exit, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace. You will see a large gate. Continue walking past the palace, and soon you will arrive at the Cheong Wa Dae Official Residence Insumun Gate, located just to the north of the palace.

    From your location in Seoul, find a nearby bus stop and take bus number 102, 1711, or 6011. Get off at the 'Gyeongbokgung Palace' stop.
